Компания Mercedes-Benz представила на автосалоне в Нью-Йорке новый кроссовер – GLC Coupe, чей концептуальный предвестник был продемонстрирован годом ранее в Шанхае. «Купейная» версия выстроена на базе GLC, но мало ниже и дольше исходной модели, и по умолчанию оснащается спортивной подвеской.

Cерийный Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe оказался весьма похожим на шанхайский концепт. Спорткар среди среднеразмерных вседорожников марки, как его именуют в самом «Мерседесе», растянулся в длину до 4.73 м, высота составила 1.6 м, а колёсная база – 2.87 м. Для сравнения, высота и длина простого GLC составляют 4.65 м и 1.64 м соответственно.

В угоду более спортивному виду немцы пожертвовали количеством багажника. У новинки он вмещает 491 л при поднятых спинках сидений и 1205 л – при разложенных (у GLC – 550 л и 1600 л соответственно).

Уже в базисном выполнении модель оснащена спортивной подвеской и «заострённым» рулевым управлением. Передаточное отношение совокупности поменяно с 16.1:1 до 15.1:1. За доплату на GLC Coupe возможно установить адаптивную либо пневматическую подвеску.

Последняя может занижать заднюю часть кузова на 4 см для более эргономичной погрузки/выгрузки содержимого багажника.

Новый GLC Coupe будет дешёв в восьми модификациях – с четырьмя дизельными и таким же числом бензиновых вариантов, включая подзаряжаемый от бытовой электросети гибрид и «заряженный» вариант от AMG. Первыми в осеннюю пору в продажу поступят дизельные предположения GLC 220 d и GLC 250 d 4MATIC с рядными «четвёрками» количеством 2.1 л мощностью 170 л.с. и 204 л.с., и бензиновая модификация GLC 250 4MATIC с 211-сильным 2.0-литровым мотором.

Ближе к Январю «Мерседес» выпустит GLC300 с 245-сильным двигателем и гибридный GLC 350 e 4MATIC с 325-сильной силовой установкой. Кроме этого покажется версия AMG GLC 43 4MATIC с 3.0-литровым битурбо V6 мощностью 367 л.с. В следующем году покажутся новые дизельные варианты.

Большая часть модификаций будут иметь полный привод. Все версии, не считая плагин-гибридной, возьмут 9-ступенчатый «автомат». Электрифицированный вариант будет укомплектован 7-диапазонной коробкой, адаптированной под работу с дополнительным электрическим мотором.

The rear window dispenses with a wiper, as the airflow does not break away until after the spoiler lip, which means that water is unable to strike the rear window.

Perfect combination of design elements from two different worlds The striking features of the front end are its dominant, steeply raked diamond radiator grille with single louvre and integral star, short overhang and SUV-inspired override guard. The innovative headlamp concept, optionally in LED High Performance technology, спорт the now characteristic Mercedes-Benz light signature. Key parameters for high energy efficiency The design has also bestowed superlative aerodynamics on the new GLC Coupe.

With a cdvalue of 0.31 and a drag area of 2.53 m2, the Coupe clearly leads its segment with cd x A = 0.79.
